Kallar Lodge is a residential dementia care home and respite centre which provides 24-hour care.
The home is owned by the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham and underwent an extensive refurbishment back in 2008.
The home has 44 residential rooms on three floors, all the rooms are spacious with an en-suite facility. There are large communal lounge areas including the dining room and lake room where residents can enjoy afternoon teas, activities and a lovely view over the lake. Kallar Lodge is surrounded by large gardens to the rear and side, it also has two internal courtyard areas including a Bird Aviary.
We prepare and cook all our meals on site, our superb cook produces hearty and nutritious meals everyday and we cater for the needs of all our residents.
Our aim is to create a homely and friendly atmosphere to help make our residents feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible. We will always encourage our residents to have their own keepsakes and personal belongings around them to make it feel like home from home.
