Working closely with Adult and Children’s commissioning teams, this provides the council with information on the quality, performance, and effectiveness of services.

Barking and Dagenham adopts a proactive approach to monitoring quality, working with providers to improve and maintain high quality services. In addition to services contracted by the council, they carry out checks to all care and support services residents use, which also includes unregulated services and support that people have funded themselves.
