A number of cycling clubs are based in the borough:

• Barking & Dagenham Cycling Club - youth road racing and BMX club
• Becontree Wheelers Cycling Club - road cycling club
• Thames Ward Women’s Cycling Club - aimed at women new to cycling, or looking to improve their skills, with cycles and helmets available for participants
• Barking and Dagenham LCC - the local branch of the London Cycling Campaign
