The Motability scheme provides disabled people with safe, reliable and affordable cars, powered wheelchairs or scooters.

The motability scheme makes it easier for people with a disability to get about. You can exchange your government funded mobility allowance for a mobility package. This includes insurance, servicing, tyres and breakdown cover. Specially adapted cars are also available. You don't have to be the driver of the car. You can still apply if you are a passenger. Parents and carers of disabled children can also apply.
