Avian Flu Outbreak - Valence Park
Over the past few days we have received reports of dead wildfowl, especially Canada Geese, in the lake/moat at Valence Park.
The RSPCA has been notified and it has been to site and has removed several birds for further testing.
Valence Park lake/moat is closed to the public until further notice.
Please DO NOT approach, touch, or feed birds in this area. This includes ducks, geese, swans, etc.
Please follow good hygiene practices including washing hands regularly
