Changes to services during the heatwave
Red weather warnings are in place on Wednesday 24 and Thursday 25 June, with high temperatures expected to continue into Friday 26 June. This may impact some Council services.
Over the past few days we have received reports of dead wildfowl, especially Canada Geese, in the lake/moat at Valence Park.
The RSPCA has been notified and it has been to site and has removed several birds for further testing.
If you find any dead or diseased birds in our parks please contact the Ranger Service by emailing the exact location to rangers@lbbd.gov.uk or calling 0208 227 2332
For other locations please the DEFRA helpline 0345 933 5577
