Making a payment

The General Income Section collects money owed to the council in respect of goods, services and penalties, including commercial rent and insurance charges. Payment is due immediately. If you are not able to pay immediately, contact us.

The General Income section can assist with repayment queries. Any other queries relating to the charges will need to be directed Corporate Estates and Property Services.

You will need to enter your 8 digit invoice number, which can be found on the invoice we sent you.

Pay at a bank

You can pay at any bank using the payment slip at the bottom of your invoice. Some banks make a charge for this service.

Please allow five working days for your payment to reach us.

Bank transfers

Payments can also be made by bank transfer.

You will need to contact your bank and quote your invoice number, with the council’s bank details:
