Notice of casual vacancy for Whalebone ward
Notice is hereby given under Section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972 that a casual vacancy exists for the office of Councillor for the Whalebone ward in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham following the passing of Councillor Glenda Paddle.
To cause a by-election to take place to fill the vacancy, two local government electors within the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham must request in writing that a by-election take place.
Requests for a by-election should be sent to The Returning Officer (The Proper Officer) at Electoral Services, Town Hall, 1 Town Square, Barking, Essex, IG11 7LU.
On receipt of two requests, the Returning Officer will set the date for a by-election to be held within 35 working days.
