Have you ever wondered why millions of Muslims observe the holy month of Ramadan each year?

Join Tharik Hussain for an inspiring afternoon as he describes Ramadan and its key principles as well as offering the religion-historical context to make clear why the month is so significant to Muslims beyond the popular perception, i.e. the key historical events that have taken place in the month.

Tharik will share why he wrote the book, Ramadan Mubarak and why Ramadan is so significant, whilst reading of quotes and verses, highlighting certain individuals and why they are important to the story of Islam.

The talk will be followed by a brief Q&A and book signing, with copies available to purchase on the day. If you have any accessibility requirements, please directly get in touch with us at pentoprint@lbbd.gov.uk
