A mental health workshop for migrants and sanctuary seekers, focused on the theme of ‘courage’. 

Facilitated storytelling circles, interactive activities and collective reflections will celebrate the collective strengths of attendees and recognise the everyday courage of the community.

A 2-hour interactive session focused on planning for employability in a UK setting, including confidence and skills building, reframing setbacks, CV advice and creating a personal action plan. 

This event is targeted at displaced workers from the borough. 

In addition, after the event, Aspire Action will host an online Zoom for free and open to all seeking to improve their employability in the UK.

Make Afghan-inspired kites and learn about the culture of kite flying and kite fighting around the world, with an opportunity to fly your kites over Abbey Green. 

Suitable for 8+, under-14s must be accompanied by an adult for health and safety.
