Family Information Service
From 1 June 2020, Ofsted registered childcare settings can open for all children. Not all settings will be able to open straight away. Please contact your childcare provider to check if they are open.
Barking and Dagenham Family Information Service (FIS) provides comprehensive information and advice on the services available to parents, including:
- information on local childcare and early years nurseries, pre-schools and childminder
- childcare funding options
- activities for children
FIS works closely with children’s centres, Jobcentre Plus, youth services, family services, libraries and many more to support children, young people, families and people who work with families.
