  • claim reference number
  • National Insurance number
  • date of birth
  • Council Tax reference number
  • last name (as spelt on your claim letter)
  • postcode

After you've linked your benefits account to My B&D 

You can:

  • check your current award for Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support
  • view next and previous payment details, including details of any Housing Benefit over payments
  • receive notification of any changes to your award and view them online
