My B&D account updates and downtime

Information on updates to My B&D and account information being unavailable for a few hours on 14 December 2022

Customers won't have access to their Council Tax, Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support or Rent information for a few hours Wednesday 14 December while updates are being made. 

The updates include:

  • not having to re-enter your reference number and personal details when paying for Council Tax when logged into My B&D with a linked Council Tax account
  • less unnecessary text and steps to link your Council Tax and Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support accounts to My B&D
  • account information, including your balance, for your linked accounts on the homepage 
  • your next bin collection date displayed on the homepage

We're making these improvements following feedback from our customers. You can continue to give us feedback but please do not leave personal information as we're unable to respond to individual requests through our feedback form.
