Residents invited to have their say on new Sebastian Court community space

Residents are being asked to share their views on how best to use a brand-new community space coming soon to Sebastian Court. Those also interested in applying for the lease are encouraged to get in touch.

In addition to the 95 new, affordable homes planned for the Sebastian Court site, the area will also welcome new playgrounds and public spaces for local people to benefit from.

Applications to apply for the lease are welcome, with the following days open for covid-safe site visits:

  • Monday 12 April
  • Monday 19 April
  • Monday 26 April

Councillor Saima Ashraf, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Community Leadership and Engagement, said: “Not only is this a fantastic opportunity for residents to come forward and have their say on what this exciting space could be used for, it’s also a chance for organisations, groups or individuals to express their interest in leasing the site. We want to get the most out of the space for the benefit of local people and that’s why it’s so important we hear from you.”

For more information on leasing the community space, or to share your views on what the space could be used for, visit oneboroughvoice.lbbd.gov.uk/sebastian-court.

Applications for the lease must be made by Friday 30 April.
