Housing Register Application unavailable

Following the system maintenance to our Housing management systems – at present you cannot make a Housing Register Application online.  The technical team are working to resolve these issues as soon as possible. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause.  While this is being fixed you can call us on 0208 724 8323 Monday to Friday, between 9am to 5pm in order to make a Housing Register application.

Dropped cigarette costs driver more than £1,500

A vehicle owner has been ordered to pay more than £1,500 for failing to provide details of the driver of her car who was caught dropping a cigarette by Barking and Dagenham Council enforcement officers.

East London Council unveils commemorative plaque to remember women and children who have experienced domestic abuse

On Monday 5 December, as part of the 16 Days of Activism for Violence Against Women and Girls, Barking and Dagenham Council in partnership with specialist domestic abuse support provider Cranston, unveiled a special commemorative plaque on a bench outside Barking Learning Centre, in recognition of all women and girls who have experienced domestic abuse.
