East London council continues to crack down on businesses selling vapes to children

The protection of young people from harmful products is a top priority for the Trading Standards team at Barking and Dagenham Council, who last month carried out a test purchasing operation which involved two teenagers aged 13 and 14 trying to buy vapes containing nicotine from local shops.

Dodgy landlord and estate agent ordered to pay thousands in court

The owner of, and estate agent responsible for letting a two-bedroom flat in Dagenham have been found guilty in court for providing extremely poor living conditions for tenants and have been ordered to pay over £22,000 between them.
