Housing Register Application unavailable

Following the system maintenance to our Housing management systems – at present you cannot make a Housing Register Application online.  The technical team are working to resolve these issues as soon as possible. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause.  While this is being fixed you can call us on 0208 724 8323 Monday to Friday, between 9am to 5pm in order to make a Housing Register application.

East London council announces new plans for Women’s Museum

Barking and Dagenham Council is pleased to announce next steps as it moves forward with the development of a Women’s Museum at 4 - 5 Barking Wharf Square.

Linked to the borough’s accredited local history programme at Valence House Museum and Archives, this inclusive space will serve as a platform to showcase the history, heritage, stories and role of women from both the local area and beyond.

Barking and Dagenham Council is delighted to announce its Summer of Festivals Weekender, which includes the highly anticipated Coronation Day event in honour of His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Queen Consort. This historic occasion will take place on Saturday 6 May followed by the much-loved One Borough Festival on Sunday 7 May at Valence Park, Dagenham, on the grounds of the iconic Valence House.
