We aim to make sure that these young people are offered the best educational experience available and receive the support they need to make the most of that.
We want them to have good school attendance and a stable school environment where they can feel secure and supported to thrive in their education.
We also work ensure that everyone involved in the care of these young people – designated teachers, social workers, carers and others – understand the impact and potential barriers that a young person's care history may have on their education and attainment, and that these professionals do everything they can to help these young people achieve positive outcomes.
As well as academic excellence, we want our students to develop into responsible young people with positive self-esteem and a ‘can do’ attitude.
