Changes to services during the heatwave
Red weather warnings for severe heat are in place on Thursday 25 June and Friday 26 June, with high temperatures expected on Saturday. This may impact some Council services.
Thursday 8 May 2025 marks a significant milestone – the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War.
On Thursday 1 May we’ll be holding a special flag-raising event outside Barking Town Hall to honour this historic occasion.
So many of you have also stepped forward to host a street party with your neighbours. We look forward to seeing your fabulous photos and videos - please don't forget to tag us in on social media.
