Other local authorities, fostering agencies and charities can request Barking and Dagenham to check what information we hold on someone who is adopting a child, becoming a private foster carer or a special guardian.

This service is free to other local authorities.  A fee of £75 will be charged to fostering agencies and charity organisations when applying for the check.
