Peer Support Group (PSG) Youth Club

Peer Support Group (PSG) is a youth club for young people aged 11-19 (up to 25 for people with SEN).

PSG is for young people with experiences of mental health issues, this could be you personally or someone you are close to (family or friends) and so you are still affected by it. It doesn’t have to be a diagnosable mental health issue, it can be stress, anxiety, low mood, sadness, depression, worries, exam stress, relationships, etc. If you do see a counsillor regularly that’s ok too.

The PSG is exactly what it says it is: a group that offers support from your peers. Facilitated by youth workers with the aim to build resilience, improve physical and emotional wellbeing, increase your understanding in your own emptions and feelings, and how these can effect your mood.

We run workshops in wellbeing, sexual health, relationships, healthy eating, cooking, drugs and alcohol abuse, and more. We regularly have external people who are specialists, facilitate these workshops so that you meet lots of great people!
