Public Space Protection Orders (PSPOs) are legal tools introduced in the United Kingdom under the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.
They are designed to give local authorities the power to address and prevent specific types of anti-social behaviour in public spaces. These include, but are not limited to, urinating, begging, and drinking. Currently there are 3 places within Barking and Dagenham that has Public Spaces Protection Orders in place. These are:
