Barking and Dagenham will remember all those who died in the line of duty, making the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we enjoy today, with a number of memorial services taking place across the borough.

| Saturday 8 November | 10:30am | The Dagenham Branch of the Royal Naval Association will lay wreaths at the War Memorial on the corner of the Heathway and Church Elm Lane, Dagenham. This service is open to the public. |
| Sunday 9 November | 10am | Wreaths will be laid at the Cenotaph in Barking Park at 10am (attendees are requested to arrive by 9:45am) |

The Barking and Dagenham Council Remembrance Parade will leave Barking Park at 10.20am promptly and will walk through Barking Town Centre to arrive at St. Margaret’s Church for the service at 10.50am. A 2-minute silence will take place at 11.00am. Those who do not wish to participate in the parade from Barking Park are requested to join at the Church at 10.45am. Both the service at the Cenotaph and Church are open to the public however the parade is strictly invitation only. |

| 10:30am | Dagenham Parish Church Remembrance Service – organised by the Royal Navel Association. This will take place at Dagenham Parish Church on Church Lane. A two-minute silence will be held at the church at 11:00am | |
| 2pm | A small parade from Grafton school to Royal British Legion, service will be held at Becontree Royal British Legion at 3.00pm at the Royal British Legion Chadwell Heath, 541 Becontree Avenue, Dagenham. Refreshments will be served afterwards. | |
| Tuesday 11 November | 10:30am | The Dagenham Branch of the Royal Naval Association will be holding a Memorial Service with local school children at the Cross Keys War Memorial in Dagenham. This service is open to the public. |
| 10:45am | A short Remembrance Service followed by wreath laying ceremony will be held at the Job Drain Memorial outside the Broadway Theatre, Barking. This service is open to the public. |
