We are running a three month pilot where you can borrow a Chromebook from our Barking Learning Centre for up to six weeks. This initiative aims to reduce the digital divide within our local communities by helping people get online. As part of the loan, you may also be eligible for free data 

Am I eligible

• you must be over the age of 16
• not have access to your own device
• be a member of our library. If you are not already a member you can join Barking & Dagenham libraries here or speak to a member of staff in one of our libraries 

If you are new to using a computer or want some support, please drop-in to the free computer classes provided by our Digital Champions

Free mobile data, calls and messages

If you're on a low income you might be eligible for free mobile data, calls and text for up to six months.
