There has been a street market in Barking Town Centre for hundreds of years, in various locations and organised in different ways.
The newly updated Barking Market, also known as Barking Town Centre Market, is located along East Street in Barking approximately 5 minutes’ walk from Barking station.
The market currently operates with approximately 80 stalls offering a variety of quality goods complemented by a food court area selling street food from many different cultures.
Opening trading times
Barking Market will be open from 9am to 5pm on:
- Monday
- Tuesday
- Thursday
- Friday
- Saturday
Bank Holiday
The market will be closed on bank holiday Mondays but open on all other public holidays.
