Trading Standards Officers from Barking and Dagenham Council carried out an operation to ensure that local businesses were not selling alcohol to young people last week.
Three owners of an illegal puppy farm that was operating in Dagenham have been found guilty at court and have been ordered to pay costs totalling £85,000, given community service and banned from keeping dogs for several years.
Last weekend Barking and Dagenham Council’s free festival weekender was attended by over 16,000 residents as the One Borough Festival and the Roundhouse Music Festival came to Parsloes Park in Dagenham.
