Housing Register Application unavailable

Following the system maintenance to our Housing management systems – at present you cannot make a Housing Register Application online.  The technical team are working to resolve these issues as soon as possible. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause.  While this is being fixed you can call us on 0208 724 8323 Monday to Friday, between 9am to 5pm in order to make a Housing Register application.

Trading Standards Officers from Barking and Dagenham Council are taking action against a shop after they confiscated 51 counterfeit items.

Barking and Dagenham Council takes a zero-tolerance approach to businesses selling illegal cigarettes to its residents. This has been proven in court where a Dagenham business has been ordered to pay out over £3,000.

Ex council employees sentenced to jail for fraud!

Two men who were previously employed as waste collection officers with Barking and Dagenham Council have been found guilty of fraud.

Both men appeared in Snaresbrook Crown Court on Friday 27 October, to be sentenced for one joint count of Fraud by abuse of position, following an internal council investigation.
