Changes to services during the heatwave
Red weather warnings are in place on Wednesday 24 and Thursday 25 June, with high temperatures expected to continue into Friday 26 June. This may impact some Council services.
Building work is considered unauthorised if building control consent hasn’t been received. However, consent can still be sought by applying for a regularisation certificate.
If building work is carried out without building control approval, it is considered unauthorised. Where unauthorised works have been carried out, the building owner may be prosecuted. However, consent can still be sought by applying for a regularisation certificate.
