Preparing your green garden waste for collection

  • your waste must be presented at the boundary of your property between 8pm the night before your collection day and 6am on your collection day
  • If you forget to put your bin out for collection in the collection period, you'll have to wait for the next collection date
  • we only collect waste from green bins we supplied
  • the bin handle must face towards your property with the front of the bin facing the road
  • your green garden waste permit should be placed on the front of your bin, so it's clearly visible to the crew - place your new permit over the old permit
  • waste must be placed loosely in the green bin
  • don't put waste in plastic bags in the bin
  • waste must fit inside the bin
  • the lid must be closed
  • we won't collect waste left to the side of the bin
