The council commissions an independent domestic and sexual abuse service, run by Refuge, to support ALL victim/survivors - including men of domestic and sexual abuse.
They are here to provide you with free expert advice and guidance to make you feel safer and are available for as long as needed. The service responds to high risk as well as moderate risk of domestic abuse and supports people to recover and rebuild their lives.
You can contact the team Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm on 0300 456 0174 or email bdadvocacy@refuge.org.uk.
Outside of these hours, you can call Refuge for free on their 24-hour helpline 0808 2000 247
