We join the nation in mourning, following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, which was announced on Thursday 8 September 2022.

Books of condolence are available online and for members of the public to sign at:

• Barking Town Hall 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
• Barking Learning Centre 9am to 5pm Saturday 17 September and 10am to 4pm Sunday 18 September
• Dagenham Library 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday and 10am to 4pm Sunday 18 September (no other services available)

The books of condolence will be available until 5pm on Wednesday 21 September 2022.

Buckingham Palace have also published an online book of condolence on the Royal Family website.

Flowers can be laid as a mark of respect at the stage area in the Town Square, opposite Barking Town Hall.
