For your child to be eligible to receive Core Portage they must meet the following conditions:

• your child must live in Barking and Dagenham
• your child must be under three years old
• your child must have a significant developmental delay in two or more areas of development
• if your child attends nursery they may be offered up to 6 months of visits, depending on the number of sessions attended

Or:

• If your child does not have developmental delay now, your child has a condition that could cause delay in the future
• You must want to be involved with the Portage service and be available for visits
