Determined admissions arrangements

Admission arrangements are set by admission authorities. The council is the admissions authority for all community schools in this borough.

Voluntary aided schools and academies set their own admissions arrangements and are known as own admission authority schools. Every admission authority must set (determine) their admission arrangements each year and publish them on their website by 1 May.

The latest determined admissions arrangements for all our schools are listed here. If you feel these arrangements do not comply with the school admissions code or laws relating to admissions, make your objection to the Office of the Schools Adjudicator.

Any decision the adjudicator makes must be followed by the admission authority and their admission arrangements must change in line with the adjudicator’s request.
