What we can investigate

Anti-Social Behaviour can mean different things to different people, and it might or might not involve breaking the law.

The following types of behaviour are Anti-Social:

  • Hate crimes or hate incidents
  • When someone uses violence or threatens to use violence
  • When someone is repeatedly verbally abusive
  • When someone harasses another person
  • When someone damages property
  • When someone is abusive to someone they live with (called Domestic Abuse)

These behaviours are not acceptable, and it's important to report them so that the council can help you.
