All referrals coming through LBBD Children’s Social Care front door where CSA is a concern, a brief consult is held with the CSA Lead as a reflective space to discuss the decision making, ensuring that the threshold applied is appropriate to the harm and ensuring that the CSA Pathway is followed.

This ensures that our young people are getting the right response at the right time and avoids delay in referrals being made.
