Cleaner, Greener Barking and Dagenham
We know that having a clean and tidy borough is really important to you and we’re working really hard to achieve this.
We know we haven’t always got things right, but we’re working harder than ever to make Barking and Dagenham a cleaner, greener place for everyone.
Our Cleaner, Greener campaign is all about going back to the basics.
We’re putting all our efforts into:
- making our streets and the local area cleaner and safer
- collecting your bins on time
- continuing to crack down on the minority of people who dump rubbish, ruining the borough for everyone else
- planting more trees and improving our green spaces.
Work with us to keep our borough clean and green
We know that having a clean and tidy borough is really important to you and we’re absolutely committed to getting it right, but we can’t do this alone.
We’re asking you to do your bit by:
- getting rid of your rubbish the right way, reducing your waste, recycling more and putting the correct rubbish into the right waste bins
- keeping your front garden tidy and not littering anywhere
- reporting fly-tipping and neighbourhood issues to us
- getting involved in community activity like litter picks.
By working together, we can make Barking and Dagenham a cleaner, greener place to live, for us and for future generations.
