If someone does something illegal to you or if you see a crime happening, like a hate crime, you should tell the police by calling 101.

If it's an emergency, call 999.

You can also make a report to the police online.

If you are a victim of crime or witness a crime occurring, including hate crime, you can report this to the police through 101 or in an emergency, 999.

If the perpetrator of the crime is a council tenant, the police will inform the Anti-Social Behaviour Team who will take further action where appropriate.
