Shared ownership for tenants
Eligibility
To be eligible for the scheme you must:
- be a secure tenant of the council
- have been a secure tenant for at least three years
- pass an affordability test
There are some council properties that are exempt from the scheme, such as sheltered accommodation and bungalows.
