What documents do I need? 

Proof of residence

Any of these documents dated within 3 months is acceptable:

• bank or building society statement
• Council Tax bill
• utility bill (electricity, gas or water)

Proof of vehicle ownership

Any of these is acceptable:

• bill of sale
• certificate of motor insurance
• vehicle registration document (V5C)
• Official letter/notice (on headed paper) from your employer showing the vehicle has been assigned to you, if your vehicle is a company vehicle.

If you are unable to provide these documents then we will consider issuing you with a 30 day temporary permit while you wait for these documents to arrive.
