Moving in

If you’re moving into Barking and Dagenham, please complete our online form above to let us know the details and set up your account. You can tell us the date you are moving in so you can start being charged for Council Tax from then.

Moving to a new address

If you’re moving to a new address in Barking and Dagenham, please complete our online form above to let us know the details.  We can then close your Council Tax account for your old property and create your new account for your new property.

Moving out

If you’re moving out of Barking and Dagenham, please complete our online form above to let us know the details.  We can then close your Council Tax account for your old property and send you a final bill.

Council Tax reference number

If you are paying Council Tax at your address and already have a Council Tax reference number that hasn't been activated on your My B&D account, you need to set this up by choosing the option ‘set up Council Tax account’.
