• neighbourhood initiatives
• targeted community activity

Medium grants

£10,000 to £100,000

Suitable for organisations delivering larger-scale support with clearly evidenced outcomes.

Large grants

More than £100,000

Suitable for:

• borough-wide programmes
• strategic partnerships
• major community coordination projects

Funding requests should be proportionate to the activity proposed and demonstrate value for money. 

Funding we are unlikely to support

We are unlikely to fund:

• projects that do not support financial resilience or crisis prevention
• duplicate statutory services
• major capital or building projects
• large asset purchases
• projects delivered outside Barking and Dagenham
• retrospective costs
• ongoing food provision without resilience-building activity
