Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF) - Community Grants Programme 2026 What we fund

We are looking for projects that help residents move beyond crisis and build greater financial security and wellbeing.

Financial resilience

Examples include:

  • welfare benefits advice
  • debt advice
  • budgeting support
  • money management programmes
  • income maximisation support
  • financial capability training

Reducing the cost of essentials

Examples include:

  • energy advice
  • support accessing affordable food and essentials
  • crisis support linked to longer-term help

Employment and skills

Examples include:

  • employability support
  • skills development
  • mentoring
  • careers advice

Community support and coordination

Examples include:

  • referral networks
  • outreach services
  • neighbourhood hubs
  • partnership working
  • resident-led activities
  • peer support

Support for vulnerable residents

Examples include:

  • mental health and wellbeing support
  • reducing social isolation
  • advocacy and practical support

Projects reaching vulnerable groups are encouraged, including:

  • older people
  • lone parents
  • larger families
  • families with young children
  • disabled residents
  • care leavers
  • young people who are NEET or experiencing mental ill health
  • residents experiencing financial hardship

Inclusion and access

Examples include:

  • digital inclusion
  • transport initiatives
  • improving access to services
  • reducing barriers to participation

These examples are not exhaustive. Innovative and community-led proposals are welcomed.
